The WSPA Early Career Psychologist committee is working to develop regular networking events and continuing education that is specifically designed to support early career psychologists.  A group of early career psychologists met in Seattle for a happy-hour networking event in February.  Twelve psychologists attended, and there was a lively exchange of resources and brain-storming for improvements in practice.

Save the Date! ECP Networking, June 21st!

Early career psychologists, please join us at our next networking event in Bellevue on Thursday June 21 from 5 -7 pm at McCormick & Schmick’s in Lincoln Square, across from Bellevue Square.  Please RSVP to committee co-chairs  Sharon Young drsharonyoung@live.com or Andrea Neal andreanealphd@gmail.com.  This is a no-host event.

Take the ECP Survey!

We are excited about creating an active dialogue about ECP needs.  A short 9 question survey for early career psychologists has been created seeking feedback on ways that the committee and WSPA can support ECPs. If you have not yet taken the survey it can be found at this link.

If you have any suggestions or requests for the committee, or if you are an Early Career Psychologist who would like to join our listserv, please contact co-chairs Sharon Young drsharonyoung@live.com or Andrea Neal andreanealphd@gmail.com.
