Spring 2018: Volume 74, Number 1
The fall convention dates have been set for November 2-4, 2018 and a location in the Seattle area will be firmed up in the next few weeks. Attendees will be able to earn up to 6 CEs a day or 18 over the three days. The 2018 Fall Convention will also feature a Student Poster Session, Breakfast for Newly Licensed Psychologists, and the Washington Psychologist Awards. Other special events will also be added to the convention. Last year’s convention was a big success and we received many comments on the content and organization.
“GREAT PRESENTATIONS AND WELL ORGANIZED! I’M GLAD I ATTENDED!
Committee Volunteers needed!
This year we are seeking volunteers to help develop the convention theme, programming, and selecting the presenters. In appreciation for their time, volunteers will be able to register at Early Bird rates without a deadline — unfortunately, attending the convention for free is within our convention budget.
Volunteers are also needed to review and approve the CE Applications. CE applications must meet APA standards to ensure that the convention will have high quality presentations. The CE applications are accessed online and volunteers can review them from home or on the go. Reviewers will receive and additional $10 off their convention registration fees or a $10 Starbucks gift card. See related story.
