The WSPA office receives 3-4 phone call requests a week from the public seeking psychologist referrals.  Many of these callers note that they have tried to use our online “Find a Psychologist” form but were unable to find any results for a psychologist in their area. This is because only about 5-10% of our membership has opted-in to our online referral service, causing this to be one of our most underutilized member benefits.

Our online Find a Psychologist form, linked here, allows the public to search WSPA member profiles for a psychologist that fits their needs. However, this service is dependent on our members opting in and keeping their profiles up to date with the correct information.  WSPA needs to improve this service to provide the public with a more robust online psychologist search as well as better promote our members who are looking for new clients.

If you are now providing video conferencing to your practice, a new Telemental Health category is being added Specialty Techniques in member profile forms.

Clients are looking for you!

Two things are needed to provide your information as a referral:

  1. Update your profile
  2. Opt-in to the Referral Service
